Our practice is seeking a highly qualified Senior Project Manager with experience completing metrics and supervising the progress of the established measures. You will work side by side with product managers, designers, and clients, making decisions together to quickly deliver valuable working software to clients and their users. Above all, we judge success by the success of our team and the happiness of our customers.

Roles

  • Establishes, implements, and leads all aspects of project's operations (i.e. Budget, forecasting, margin, metrics billing/invoicing, purchase orders, MSA/ SOW/ SLA compliance, etc.)
  • Handle the tracking/measurement and progress against established measures and metrics (e.g. bid vs did, SLA, and any other operational or contractual measures)
  • Establish, implement and coordinate a project's governance (i.e. team member management, communication ceremonies, benefits management, organizational change, scope management, team work environment, on-boarding, etc.)
  • Lead the tracking/measurement and progress against established measures and metrics (e.g. bid vs did, SLA, and any other operational or contractual measures)
  • Establishes, implements, and is responsible for project delivery estimation and planning (team resource and timeline) across Cognizant organization (pursuit through sprints/PIs) to grow the Business.
  • Supports pursuits (and running them as a project) as required.
  • Collaborates with Commercial/Account Team to grow the business by identifying and defining business value opportunities for the client.
  • Drives optimal business value through scope management, organizational change, communication ceremonies, acceptance criteria, negotiation, etc.
  • Lead the setup and then the daily running of a project (i.e. task assignment and optimization, resource schedules, planning, logistics, tracking, issues/risk management, running meetings, organizing events, status reporting, adhoc reporting, sign-offs, etc.)
  • Establishes and forms relationships with client and other partners for the project.
  • Leads team by supporting and driving career growth, personal/team development, well-being, diversity and inclusion; provides input to HCM supervisors on performance of all direct reports on a program, irrespective of the business unit of the direct report.
  • Lead and personally contribute to the continuous improvement of the program & project management guild and community (best practices, networking, standards, training, tools, etc.)
  • Responsible for Project Management tool and process compliance (i.e. Delivery Governance Dashboard).

Salary and Other Compensation:

The annual salary for this position is between $81K – $163K depending on experience and other qualifications of the successful candidate.

This position is also eligible for Cognizant’s discretionary annual incentive program, based on performance and subject to the terms of Cognizant’s applicable plans.
