Medical Assistant
HealthCare Support is actively seeking a Medical Assistant to fill an opening with one of the largest healthcare organizations in Jericho, New York.
Daily Responsibilities for Medical Assistant :

• Room patients and perform vitals (blood pressure, height, weight, head circumference, temperature via oral, tymp or rectal.)
• Clean exam rooms, stock rooms and prep for next patient. Assist physician with exam and treatment within scope of practice
• Laboratory testing /rapid testing such as flu, strep, mono, RSV, urine
• Blood draw on kids from 0 to 21 yrs. Old via heel stick, finger stick and venipuncture
• Work hours: As early as 8am and as late at 6pm ( varies by day) schedule assigned on a monthly basis
  Work days per week: Monday- Saturday Not every Saturday, every other or less. If working a Saturday, they would be off one day during the week.

Required Qualifications for Medical Assistant :

• Ability to take accurate vital signs
• Ability to work with children and parent
• Blood drawing experience
• Medical understanding/background how to work with patients in providing high quality care
• High school diploma

Pay Details: $22.00 - $26.00 an hour
