Job Description

The Quality FEP Business Analyst is responsible for managing claims production tasks, supporting audits, and identifying process improvements to ensure compliance with FEP performance metrics and operational standards.

Responsibilities:

  • Assist in FEP audits by researching claim-related issues, preparing audit responses, and representing IBX during audit presentations.
  • Handle claims production tasks, including written inquiries and reconsiderations, to meet FEP performance metrics.
  • Evaluate and document FEP procedures and regulations, ensuring compliance and identifying necessary improvements.
  • Support assigned FEP projects, maintain documentation, monitor deadlines, and act as a subject matter expert as required.
  • Develop and update user documentation and desk-level procedures for the claims team.

Qualifications:

  • High School Diploma or GED required; Associate degree or two years of relevant experience preferred; Bachelor’s degree is highly desirable.
  • Minimum of 4 years in a Claims/Service operations environment or related field.
  • Familiarity with FEP policies, processing standards, and regulatory impacts; understanding of systems and process flows.
  • Ability to adapt in a team environment and contribute to a collaborative work culture.
