Convergint is looking for a full-time, enthusiastic, results driven and forward-thinking Senior Financial Analyst to join our amazing culture. In this role, you are responsible for maintaining and managing the flow of financial and operational data into the ERP System and then into the reporting consolidation product (Prophix) and support reporting and data integrity. The position also participates in the semi-annual budgeting process supporting the training, communication, and consolidation of global data. A solid understanding of data structure and flow to be able to compile and analyze information to provide observations and suggestions for business purposes is necessary. What You’ll Do

  • Maintains and manages financial data. This includes processing and reconciling financial data from a variety of sources and systems.
  • Supports the semi-annual budgeting cycles for global Profit & Loss (P & L) reporting.
  • Creates actual, plan and future forecast financial reports for management.
  • Reports on and tracks Key Performance Indicators (KPI’s) for multiple areas of the company including Commercial, Operational, and Financial.
  • Researches, selects, and compiles financial data from multiple sources, such as sales, operations, accounting, public sources or vendors. Analyzes this data to produce business information used to support decisions.
  • Works with Manager and business users to develop monthly rolling forecast and annual operating budget for departments to ensure the accuracy of forecast or budget data. Proactively challenges forecast or budget assumptions and ensures the integrity of the calculations and results.
  • Identifies financial business processes that can be improved through technology designs and implements the processes working with other areas of business.
  • Works with Manager, Financial Planning & Analyst and departments to develop revenue forecasts and models.
  • Ensures compliance with internal control policies and procedures.
  • Performs other duties and responsibilities as requested or required.

What You’ll Need

  • Solid knowledge of financial information analysis using spreadsheets, databases, and other financial reporting software.
  • Strong understanding of financial statements and the general ledger.
  • Strong planning and organizational skills; ability to meet tight deadlines.
  • Solid analytical thinking and quantitative analysis.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Ability to work independently, multi-task, and prioritize.
  • Flexible, adaptable, detail-oriented and self-motivated.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Excel, Outlook, PowerBI, PowerPoint, and SQL reporting.

Requirements

Education: College degree, trade school or equivalent experience

  • Bachelor’s degree in accounting, finance, or computer science or equivalent field

Minimum Experience: 6+ years financial analysis, accounting, or related field
