JOB DESCRIPTION
As a Product Manager on the Giving team, your mission is to amplify generosity on our platform and expand our customer reach. With a deep understanding of churches and the broader nonprofit sector, you'll craft features that engage donors and offer robust tools for resource management. Join us in leading the charge to create the industry's premier giving platform.
RESPONSIBILITIES
- Drive the execution and roadmap of the core giving platform, ensuring alignment with the company's vision and objectives.
- Collaborate closely with the Head of Product to develop and refine product strategies.
- Partner cross-functionally with engineering, design, customer success, and other teams to ensure a seamless and delightful user experience for churches and nonprofits.
- Act as the primary voice and advocate for users and key customers, ensuring their needs and feedback are integral to product development.
- Engage directly with churches and nonprofits to understand their unique fundraising challenges and requirements.
- Set an ambitious product development roadmap, identifying areas for enhancement and exploring new product opportunities in the fintech space.
- Leverage data analytics, market research, and user feedback to inform product decisions, ensuring continuous improvement and growth.
- Regularly track and analyze key performance metrics to assess product success.
- Challenge the existing product offerings and processes, identifying opportunities for innovation and ensuring the platform remains competitive and responsive to market changes.
NON NEGOTIABLE QUALIFICATIONS
- Be available for meetings from 9a-6p PST Monday-Friday.
- 1 business day responsiveness to slack & email.
- Alignment to Overflow’s mission to Inspire The World to Give founded on Christian Proverbs 11:24 “The world of the generous gets larger & larger.”
- Willingness to travel & participate in in person gatherings.
- Commitment to serving the evangelical Christian church space, alongside wider 501(c)3 nonprofit space.
DESIRED TECHNICAL SKILLS & APTITUDES
- At least 2+ years of product management experience.
- Shipped products ideally in the SaaS/B2B or fintech spaces.
- Experience working in a technical environment with a cross functional team to drive product vision, define product requirements, coordinate resources from other groups (design, legal, success, etc.), and guide the team through key milestones.
- Strong communication skills, both written and verbal.
- Analytical mindset to dive deep into data, derive insights and make informed product decisions.
COMPENSATION PACKAGE
BASE SALARY: Payable on a bi-monthly basis & subject to all withholdings & deductions as required by law.
EQUITY GRANT: Subject to approval by Board of Directors, 4 year vest, 1 year cliff.
