Job Summary

This position is responsible for leading the development of functional and non-functional business requirements; working with the Medicare/Medicaid Business Solutions Lead to understand business strategy and translate into product requirement.

This hybrid role can be located in CHICAGO IL or RICHARDSON TX ~ relocation will not be offered; sponsorship is not available.

Required Job Qualifications:

1. Bachelor Degree and 2 years Information Technology experience OR Technical Certification and/or College Courses and 4 year Information Technology experience OR 6 years Information Technology experience.
2. Knowledge of system architecture and application portfolio.
3. Knowledge of requirements management and/or prototyping using Jira.
4. Ability to simplify & standardize complex concepts and/or processes.
5. Business acumen.
6. Project management skills.
7. Requirements definition and management.
8. SDLC, Iterative, Agile, OWF, and/or Scrum development.
9. Problem solving and/or analytical thinking.
10. Possess ability to manage workload and manage multiple priorities, as applicable.
11. Written and verbal communications.

Preferred Job Qualifications:

1. Bachelor Degree in Computer Science, Business Administration, or Information Technology.
2. Familiarity with Healthcare systems/payer, Medicare, Medicaid, Centers for Medicare Medicaid Services, Annual Election/Enrollment, and/or Interoperability.
3. Business process management and modeling.
4. Experience using Jira.
5. Experience working in healthcare industry (minimum of 5 years as a Business Analyst in a Medicaid/Medicare environment).
6. Have at least 1 year of epic and user stories in an Agile/Scrum environment.
7. Experience working with data and/or claims projects.
8. Led user requirement sessions with business stakeholders.
9. BA certification.
