Process Engineer(Injection Molding)-3rd Shift

Direct hire role for a Global Automotive Tier supplier client.

Pay: $75K-80K/yr (1.5X OT after 45hrs/week)

3rd Shift

Job Description:

• Manages, motivates, and leads the Process Technicians ensuring appropriate directions, training, and evaluation
• Develops and maintains the process standards in which all parts are manufactured
• Verifies and applies narrow ranges for optimum process
• Reviews production and operating records and resolves technical processing issues
• Follows established action plans for processes out of range
• Specifies project management and buy off new equipment
• Manages exploration of new materials and processes to achieve the best quality, process, and reliability
• Complies data and analyses past and current information to assist in the preparation of the budget; works with tool shops for all tool repair and maintenance

Requirements:

• At least 3-5 years of experience with injection molding with presses ranging from 85-3200 tons
• Master root-cause troubleshooting and problem solving
• Must have experience with valve gate, hot runner, and scientific injection molding principals
• Desire to be hands-on
• At least 2 years of automation experience
• Strong work ethic with the desire to overcome challenges and obstacles that arise on a daily basis
• Direct experience leading a team
