The Finance & IT function works to accelerate business growth through ensuring that the company’s operations run efficiently and effectively, ultimately enabling the achievement of company goals.
Responsibilities include:
- Proactively engage with business partners to drive all aspects of licensing revenue forecasting and reporting.
- Expertise collecting, analyzing, and summarizing quantitative data and creating meaningful reports to drive business discussions around enhancing profitability.
- Proactively identify and implement process improvements to drive efficiencies in the org.
- Ability to proactively identify and propose solutions to complex and ambiguous problems with minimal direction from manager.
- Independently manage all monthly/quarterly financial close, forecast, and reporting models related to the business segments you own.
- Continuously looking for innovative ways to improve the use and ease of analytics for interpretation by your business partners.
- Establish strong lines of communication within the finance team and with business partners to raise issues and provide insight for decision making.
Job Requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree in Business/Economics with an emphasis in finance or accounting.
- 5+ years relevant work experience and/or graduate work.
- Knowledge of GAAP principles, basic accounting skills, Excel, PowerPoint (SAP, BI, EPM experience would be helpful).
- Demonstrated ability to interpret financial data with excellent analytical and critical thinking skills; identifying trends, interpreting data, and translating into actionable information.
- Ability to meet tight deadlines, prioritize workload, and achieve effective results in a fast-paced, dynamic, ever-growing, and often ambiguous environment.
- Demonstrated effective communication and presentation skills working with multiple peer groups and levels of management; team player.
- Strong desire to solve problems and enthusiastic about learning.
- Strong attention to detail.
The San Francisco/Bay Area base salary range for this full-time position is $114,300 - $137,400 plus bonus, equity, and benefits, and can vary if outside of this location. Our salary ranges are determined by role, level, and location. Within the range, individual pay is determined by work location and additional factors, including job-related skills, competencies, experience, market demands, internal parity, and relevant education or training.
