DescriptionAn integral team member of the operations team, reporting directly to the Senior VP of Operations who works with senior and department leaders in operations, training, and strategic operations to ensure the brand strategy is supported and executed with tactics and analysis that meet the strategic plan timeline.Responsibilities:Manages projects with varying degrees of complexity, definition, and riskSupports and/or leads various projects and programs, managing projects simultaneouslyProvides periodic updates to senior leadership on status of strategic plan and makes recommendations where adjustments are needed to ensure the strategic plan objectives are metPossesses strong multi-tasking capabilitiesSupports cross-functional initiatives from inception, testing and implementation to ongoing product management when necessaryParticipates in developing project strategies, success criteria, plan, budget, risk, quality standards, and timeline with cross functional resources.Participates in development and execution of testing and implementation plans for multi-year corporate initiativesServes as Operations support on emerging concepts and other strategic initiatives; keeps impact on Operations front and center for every recommended course of action.Defines path to resolution, coordinates and integrates efforts across multiple projectsWork closely with cross functional team of subject matter experts; identifies resources required to meet the needs of the initiative; gains alignment from senior leaders on resource commitmentDrives results through others by influencing, gaining alignment and effectively facilitating cross-functional activitiesIndependently determines project risks and issues, identifies options and recommended solutions – elevates as necessary to drive results in a timely mannerFrequently interacts with franchisees and company leadership in order to:Gain alignmentDevelop and present win-win business solutions to meet various environmental needsCreate and present professional level updates as neededDevelops cost/benefit models, conducts financial analysis to identify alternative business courses of action and provides recommendations with supporting analysis for executive decision makingProvides ongoing analysis of results vs plan to ensure that inter-department teams stay on track with executing strategic plan objectivesWorks directly with Franchisees, their designated points of contact and restaurant operators on strategic initiatives.Skills & Requirements:Bachelor’s degree in Liberal Arts, or related discipline, or equivalent professional experienceMinimum 5 years Project Management experienceStrong knowledge is restaurant industry P&L, industry and emerging technologies that drive restaurant operations simplificationMulti-unit restaurant/food industry experience preferredExcellent written and oral communication skillsProficiency in Microsoft office applications, including MS Excel, Outlook, Word, and PowerPoint. MS Project proficiency a plus.
