The Loan Funder reports to the Accounting Supervisor and is responsible for funding loans through the warehouse portal, running daily warehouse reports, and paying down sold loans. The Loan Funder will work closely with the Closing Department at the time of funding and will be responsible for reviewing closing documents and wire requests. The position will be responsible for funding loans promptly in accordance with company requirements.
What you will do for Constructive Capital:
- Check the file for completeness and the required document
- Review executed loan documents prior to the release of funds
- Verify and set up lender wire for closing with the warehouse
- Run daily warehouse reports and update the Encompass funding worksheet
- Paydown loans on warehouses that have been sold
- High school diploma/GED; some college preferred
- 1-3 years of Mortgage Banking experience
- Demonstrated ability to prioritize, multi-task, meet deadlines, and adapt to changing priorities with strong organizational skills
- Precise attention to detail
- Knowledge of final loan documents and audits for final funding
- Encompass experience
- WLS experience Excellent written and verbal communication skills and ability to work in a team environment
