Roles and Responsibilities:
Seeking a second-shift CNC Machinist to safely and efficiently set up and operate a CNC Mill or CNC Lathe. Machines include Okuma CNC Lathes, Mazak CNC Lathes, Mazak Mills, HAAS Mills and Mazak machining centers.
PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Under the direction of a supervisor and/or lead, responsible for quality parts produced on CNC machines in a safe, and efficient manner.
- Perform set-up including locating tools and fixtures, defining tools, touching off tools, setting jaws, vices, or fixturing.
- Load parts utilizing overhead lifting equipment.
- Operating controls, setting offsets, simple edits, and jogging machine.
- Ability to read blueprints, precision measuring instruments and job orders to determine dimensions, tolerance, and tooling requirements is preferred.
- Maintain tolerancing through the entire run, while performing periodic inspections to be documented on Inspection Sheets.
- Ability to troubleshoot issues during run to return the machine to good operation.
- Keep equipment and work area clean and orderly and perform basic preventative maintenance functions on equipment.
- Properly deburr and break edges of parts to print.
- Clean work areas as necessary to maintain cleanliness, health, and safety standards.
- All other reasonable tasks assigned with the goal of helping the team, operations, or the facility overall.
- Perform other work-related tasks as assigned.
- Comply with all Company and HSE policies and procedures.
Qualifications and Education Requirements:
TOP SKILLS REQUIRED:
- ABILITY TO DO SETUPS, MEASURE, AND TROUBLESHOOT
- MUST HAVE PREVIOUS EXPERIENCE WITH MAZAK, HAAS, OKUMAS WITH FANUC CONTROLS (ENSURE THIS IS CLEARLY SHOWN ON ALL RESUMES)
- LOOKING FOR 2-5 YEARS OF CNC MILL MACHINE EXPERIENCE
- LOOKING FOR 1-4 YEARS OF CNC LATHE MACHINE EXPERIENCE
- ABILITY TO DO CONVERSATIONAL AND G CODE PROGRAMMING
- ALL CANDIDATES MUST HAVE A HIGH MECHANICAL ABILITY
- MUST BE ABLE TO READ BLUEPRINTS AND IDENTIFY TOOLS
- MUST BE A TEAM PLAYER - ABILITY TO WORK WELL WITH OTHERS
- HIGH LEVEL OF PROFESSIONALISM - HAS RESPECT FOR FELLOW COWORKERS AND MANAGEMENT
EDUCATION REQUIRED - HIGH SCHOOL DIPLOMA OR GED
SCHEDULE: NIGHT SHIFT - 5: 00 PM TO 1: 30 AM; OVERTIME IS AVAILABLE, ON AN AS-NEEDED BASIS.
THIS IS A TEMP-TO-HIRE POSITION IF EXPECTATIONS ARE MET.

Pay Range:
The pay range for this position is $19.00-20.00 per hour; however, the pay offered may vary depending on job-related knowledge, skills, and experience. This pay information is being provided pursuant to applicable law and is based in part on market location.

Must have a valid driver s license and current state required minimum vehicle insurance coverage to drive onto Client and Company property.
