Electro-Mechanical Assembler
Location: Boonton, NJ
Pay: $24.00/ hr - Paid Weekly
Shift:Monday - Friday 7:00 am - 3:30 PM
Position Summary:
Responsible for overseeing a specific work cell involving the assembly, wiring, and testing of products. You will organize workflows, monitor quality and labor standards, ensure ISO 9001 compliance, and maintain work cell documentation and inventory. Additionally, you'll assist and coordinate the efforts of other team members.
Key Responsibilities:

• Schedule and oversee daily work activities in the department.
• Ensure work tasks align with production plans and customer requirements.
• Monitor work progress and report deviations from time standards.
• Operate manufacturing machines and test equipment (presses, crimpers, signal generators, etc.).
• Maintain work cell inventory and collaborate with the Materials Department for part availability.
• Record labor and inventory transactions.
• Ensure compliance with ISO 9001 Quality Management System.
• Maintain and ensure proper use of test equipment and tools.
• Keep work areas clean and safe.
• Assist and train other team members as needed.
• May assemble or wire complex equipment based on schematics or models.

Qualifications:

• 3+ years of experience in electro-mechanical assembly.
• Proficiency in reading schematics, drawings, and following work instructions.
• Strong computer skills and communication abilities.
• Proven leadership experience in a team environment.
