We have an opportunity for a motivated Electrical CAD Designer/Operator to join our Electrical practice in Long Beach, California!
Responsibilities
This individual will primarily be responsible for designing and producing sets of plans for electrical systems including electrical vehicle charging and building electrical.
Participate on project teams in an active production role.
Participate in project meetings internally.
Daily interaction and collaboration on cross-functional teams across multiple disciplines.
Perform quality work that promotes client retention.
Qualifications
High school diploma or equivalent (Associates degree preferred).
3+ years of design experience in Engineering, electrical is a plus.
Advanced knowledge and proficiency in AutoCAD.
Understanding of the National Electrical code, other NFPA codes/standards, energy codes is a plus.
Building Information Modeling (BIM-Autodesk Revit) experience is a plus.
Knowledge and understanding of Microstation experience is a plus.
Electrical power, lighting and fire alarm design experience.

Strong work ethic, interpersonal communication/writing skills and a desire to learn.
