Commercial Paint Estimator
We are seeking a meticulous and experienced Commercial Paint Estimator. As a crucial member of the organization, you will be responsible for accurately estimating the costs and materials required for commercial painting projects. Your expertise will ensure that the bids are competitive yet profitable, and that projects are executed smoothly within budget constraints.
Key Responsibilities:
  • Analyze blueprints, specifications, proposals, and other documentation to prepare comprehensive and accurate estimates.
  • Collaborate with project managers, contractors, and clients to understand project requirements and expectations.
  • Determine labor, materials, and time requirements by studying proposals, specifications, and related documents.
  • Calculate costs for labor, equipment, materials, and subcontractor services to ensure competitive pricing.
  • Prepare and submit detailed proposals and bids, including cost breakdowns and project schedules.
  • Maintain records of estimates, contracts, change orders, and related documentation.
  • Conduct site visits and evaluations to assess project feasibility and gather necessary information.
Qualifications:
  • Minimum of 5 years of experience as a Commercial Paint Estimator.
  • Proven track record of successfully estimating commercial painting projects of various sizes and complexities.
  • Proficiency in reading and interpreting architectural drawings, blueprints, and technical documents.
  • Strong analytical skills with attention to detail and accuracy.
  • Excellent communication and negotiation skills to interact effectively with clients, subcontractors, and team members.
  • Advanced knowledge of construction methods, materials, and regulations.
  • Ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
  • Proficiency in estimating software and Microsoft Office Suite.
Education:
  • Bachelor’s degree in Construction Management, Engineering, or related field preferred.
