Job Summary: As a Data Architect, you will be responsible for designing, implementing, and optimizing data solutions leveraging Azure services, Power BI, Excel, and Microsoft Teams. You will collaborate with cross-functional teams to architect data platforms, develop analytics solutions, and facilitate data-driven decision-making processes.
Key Responsibilities:
1.Azure Data Platform:
· Design and implement data solutions on Azure, utilizing services such as Azure Data Factory, Azure Storage, Azure Key Vaults, and Managed Identities.
· Utilize Azure DevOps (ADO) for managing backlogs and connecting to Azure Analytics Views.
· Leverage Kusto Query Language (KQL) and Azure Monitor for data analysis and monitoring.
· Develop workflows and automate processes using Azure Logic Apps.
2.Power BI Analytics:
· Develop interactive dashboards and reports using Power BI Desktop, incorporating DAX for advanced calculations and Power Query/M-Code for data transformation.
· Establish relationships between data sources and optimize data models for performance and usability.
· Implement report distribution and management using Power BI Report App and Deployment Pipelines.
· Manage workspaces and permissions to ensure effective collaboration and governance.
3.Excel Data Analysis:
· Create data connections to external sources and databases within Excel.
· Utilize pivot tables and basic formulas for data analysis and visualization.
· Convert data from CSV to XLSX format and vice versa as needed.
4.Microsoft Teams Integration:
· Manage group chats and channels within Microsoft Teams to facilitate collaboration and communication among team members.
· Configure and manage apps and add-ins within Teams to enhance productivity and workflow integration.
Qualifications:
· Bachelor's or master’s degree in computer science, Information Systems, or related field.
· Proven experience as a data architect or analytics specialist, with expertise in designing and implementing data solutions using Azure services, Power BI, Excel, and Microsoft Teams.
· In-depth knowledge of Azure services such as Azure Data Factory, Azure Storage, Azure Key Vaults, and Managed Identities.
· Proficiency in Power BI Desktop for creating interactive dashboards and reports, with strong understanding of DAX and Power Query/M-Code.
· Advanced skills in Excel for data analysis, visualization, and manipulation.
· Familiarity with Microsoft Teams for collaboration and communication.
· Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.
Certifications:
· Microsoft Certified: Azure Data Engineer Associate or equivalent certification is preferred.
· Power BI certification or equivalent is a plus.
