The position is tasked with activities that include, but are not limited to debt capital markets issuance, liability management, interest rate risk management, share repurchase execution, managing rating agency relationships, financial reporting, and capital structure analysis.ResponsibilitiesProvide analytical support and strategy development for external funding, financial strength and capital structurePlan, coordinate and execute bond issuancesDevelop and execute interest rate hedging strategiesDevelop and execute share repurchase strategiesProvide support to ensure strong rating agency and bank relationshipsDevelop cash forecast for debt and interest rate swap settlementsManage deferred compensation plan hedging programsRequirementsEducation/Experience: college or university degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or other business-related fields; 4+ years of job-related experience in Treasury/Finance/Capital MarketsPlanning: Tactical, Strategic: Knowledge of effective planning techniques and ability to contribute to operational (short term), tactical (1-2 years) and strategic (3-5 years) planning in support of the overall business plan.Accuracy and Attention to Detail: Understanding the necessity and value of accuracy; ability to complete tasks with high levels of precision.Communicating Complex Concepts: Knowledge of effective presentation tools and techniques to ensure clear understanding; ability to use summarization and simplification techniques to explain complex technical concepts in simple, clear language appropriate to the audience.Decision Making and Critical Thinking: Knowledge of the decision-making process and associated tools and techniques; ability to accurately analyze situations and reach productive decisions based on informed judgment.Relationship Management: Knowledge of relationship management techniques; ability to establish and maintain healthy working relationships with clients, vendors, and peers.Financial Markets: Knowledge of the products, types, competitors, customer base, major issues and regulatory considerations in the financial markets; ability to apply financial market knowledge to various business environments.Financial Analysis: Knowledge of tools and approaches of financial analysis; ability to read, interpret and draw accurate conclusions from financial and numerical material.Top Candidate Will Also Have:Knowledge of Treasury policies and proceduresExperience in debt capital marketsGood understanding of international finance, interest rate and foreign exchange marketsStrong analytical and communication skills as well as personal computer expertiseGood human relations skills are required to develop a cooperative work relationship with others inside and outside the departmentAdditional Details:This position is located at our office in Irving, TXDomestic relocation is available for those who qualifyVisa Sponsorship will not be offered for this roleFlexible work environment with hybrid approach of both in-person and online work.Employee benefit details:Our goal at Caterpillar is for you to have a rewarding career.
