Business Development Manager
Salary: $90,000 - $115,000 base + commission.
Location: Remote for candidates with prior residency in Houston (Houston residents only, will not consider out of state candidates) or onsite in Longwood, FL
Summary
We're seeking an experienced and results-driven Business Development Manager (BDM) to develop new business channels and expand our customer base and revenue within the energy & fuels sector. As a BDM, you will:
  • Identify new business opportunities through effective prospecting and lead generation.
  • Contact potential clients, arrange meetings, and deliver. presentations to research organizations and viable representatives.
  • Explore new and traditional markets for business opportunities.
  • Work closely with management to align on strategy and provide regular reports.
  • Coordinate and attend meetings, conferences, and industry events.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop new customer relationships and generate leads.
  • Research and identify new business opportunities, including markets, growth areas, and partnerships.
  • Map out yearly growth plans, set milestones, and strategies for client acquisition and revenue targets.
  • Collaborate with the marketing department on promotional strategies and activities.
  • Build and grow a network of contacts to attract new clients.
  • Create and present dynamic pitches and proposals.
  • Utilize CRM to track contacts, opportunities, and proposals.
  • Execute sales strategies and plans for new customers.
  • Communicate customer requirements to product line managers.
  • Host monthly internal reviews to ensure goals are met.
  • Prepare and share written customer-specific plans, including organization and buying processes, product/service requirements, sales goals, and competitive analysis.
  • Oversee growth projects, make sales projections, and forecast revenue.

Qualifications
  • Proven track record of selling complex software, hardware, and services solutions to industrial customers within the fuel and energy sectors (Midstream clients).
  • Must have demonstrated success winning new Enterprise level business.
  • Frequent travel required; must have a current passport.
  • Fluency in Spanish and/or Portuguese is a plus.
  • Bachelor's degree is preferred.
