The young parent program serves some of the Commonwealth's youngest and most vulnerable people. Joining this team means joining a group of committed individuals who are making a difference in the lives of others every day.
At the Young Parent Living Program, we assist with setting goals, planning how to accomplish those goals, managing time effectively, and dealing with distractions and roadblocks when they arise.
By conducting assessments, completing progress notes, participating in team meetings, developing trusting relationships, and collaborating with community resources, you can help ensure young families in your community have the supports necessary to lead healthy and productive lives.
Hours:
Mon-Fri 9am to 5pm
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's Degree in Social Work or a related field required
- One (1) to three (3) year(s) experience working with children and families required
- Bilingual in Spanish and English preferred with the ability to read, write and communicate verbally in English
- Valid Driver's License, proof of automobile insurance and positive driving record to transport minors in own vehicle if needed required
- Computer skills, including Microsoft Word, and email competence required
- Significant experience working with children with social/emotional/physical problems preferred
- Knowledge of and adherence to federal, state, program and agency regulations preferred
