The Welder is responsible for laying out, fitting and welding fabricated, cast and forged components to assemble structural forms such as machinery frames, tanks, and pressure vessels.

The Welder is responsible for laying out, fitting and welding fabricated, cast and forged components to assemble structural forms such as machinery frames, tanks, and pressure vessels.
Responsibilities may include but are not limited to:
- Laying out, measuring, positioning, aligning and fitting components together.
- Assembling parts from blueprints.
- Discussing errors in diagrams or production order with supervisor or engineer to clarify production problems.
- Setting up equipment and welding parts with Mig and Tig.
- Performing related tasks such as thermal cutting and grinding.
- Repairing products by dismantling, straightening, reshaping, and reassembling parts.
- Finishing parts per blueprint, de-bur sharp edges.
- Rolling tank sections from flat steel.
- Welding tank sections together.
- Ability to weld in all positions and ensuring weld quality.
- Facilitating and/or performing corrective action if problems are noted in function or appearance.
- High School Diploma or General Education Degree (GED) and
- One to three years related experience and/or training.
- or equivalent combination of education and experience.
- Blueprint reading
- Schedule: Monday-Thursday 6:30pm-6:00am
