Job Description
Under direct supervision, the Outside Sales Representative will take over an established book of business with the idea of growing the business through fact finding and qualifying. Will use the provided database to call on new leads along with existing customers for the purpose of developing a buying relationship. All Outside Sales Representatives will be evaluated based on their ability to meet sales quotas and revenue targets, prospecting and developing accounts, and growing strategic relationships. Outside Sales Representatives will be tasked with increasing revenue within their assigned territories, initiating consistent contact with their existing and potential clients via telephone, e-mail, and personal visits, and introducing these clients to the company’s products and services that best meet their needs.
- Execute systematic sales techniques based on proven sales metrics
- Record all contacts with existing and potential clients
- Process orders that meet the requirements set by the client and forward to the client's fulfillment location
- Job performance will be measured through a variety of related sales metrics
- Provide product demonstrations and answer customer questions regarding features and benefits
- Perform all tasks in accordance with the company's core values
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent combination of education and experience
- Exemplary communication skills to include written, verbal and presentation skills
- Superior listening skills
- Excellent customer service and listening skills
- Self-starter with ability to meet deadlines in a high stress environment
- Strong decision making abilities in an autonomous environment
- Detail and follow up oriented
- Clean driving record
- Knowledge of MS Word, Excel & Outlook
- Minimum 1 year sales experience required
- Proven sales track record
