Salary: $90,000 - $120,000 annually with a salary increase after a 90-day probation period


0-3 years of experience. Litigation experience is a plus but not necessary

Key Responsibilities:

  • Draft, review, and analyze legal documents, including reports to carriers, pleadings, motions, and discovery notices/responses.
  • Conduct legal research using Westlaw.
  • Take and defend depositions.
  • Appear in court for conferences, motions, and hearings.
  • Manage complex cases from inception through resolution.
  • Collaborate with experts and other legal professionals.


Qualifications:

  • 0-3 years of experience in insurance defense.
  • Must have an active Florida bar and in good standing
  • Experience in personal injury and/or bodily injury litigation (plaintiff or defense) is highly desirable.
  • Prior experience in the insurance industry or corporate risk management is a plus.
  • Strong ability to manage complex cases and conduct thorough discovery.
  • Superior writing and litigation skills are essential.
  • Proven ability to take depositions and interview experts effectively.
