We are seeking a highly skilled Network Engineer to join our Infrastructure team. You will be responsible for designing, implementing, and maintaining our network infrastructure to ensure maximum performance and reliability. You will have the opportunity to work with cutting-edge technologies and be a part of a dynamic team that is focused on providing exceptional network solutions.
Responsibilities:
- Design, configure, and deploy enterprise-level network infrastructure, including routers, switches, firewalls, and load balancers.
- Plan and execute network upgrade projects to enhance network performance and scalability.
- Monitor network performance and troubleshoot any issues that arise.
- Proven experience in implementing and managing security controls, policies, and procedures- emphasizing an operational approach.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to optimize network performance.
- Create and maintain documentation of network configurations and processes.
Requirements:
- Proven Experience with Palo Alto Firewalls.
- Strong knowledge of networking protocols and technologies, such as TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP, VPN, and VLANs, VRRP, OSPF, and BGP.
- Experience with Cloud networking technologies such as AWS VPC’s, AWS Direct Connect, Azure VNET’s, and Azure Express Routes.
- Experience with network monitoring and troubleshooting tools.
- In-depth understanding of network security principles and best practices.
- Ability to work effectively in a team environment.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in computer science or information technology degree field.
- Minimum of 5 Years of proven experience.
- CCNA, CCNP, PCNSA, or PCNSE certification(s).
Compensation
In the spirit of pay transparency, we are excited to share the base salary range for this position is $109,400 - $164,200, exclusive of fringe benefits or potential bonuses. This position is also eligible for an annual corporate bonus of 10%. If you are hired at Payscale, your final base salary compensation will be determined based on factors such as skills, education, and/or experience. In addition to those factors – we believe in the importance of pay equity and consider any internal equity of our current team members as a part of any final offer. Please keep in mind that the range mentioned above is the full base salary range for the role. Hiring at the maximum of the range would not be typical in order to allow for future & continued salary growth. We also offer a generous compensation and benefits package (more information on benefits listed below).
