Job Requirements / Description
Hi there! We are GoldOller and we are currently looking for a Property Accountant to work closely with the VP of Accounting, other accounting staff, asset management and the operations team on property management financial accounting.
On any given day you will do one or all of the following:
  • Prepare balance sheet account analysis and account reconciliation
  • Reconcile of all bank accounts
  • Generate monthly financial reports and prepare the supporting schedules
  • Review financial statements for accuracy and month-end closing reports. Analyze variances
  • Prepare journal entries
  • Month-end closing reports
  • Assist with the development of internal controls
  • Complete special projects and duties as needed
And these are the skills and qualifications you will need to be successful:
  • Ability to conduct financial analysis and research
  • Understanding of theories, principles, and practices of the following:
    • Accounting
    • Budgeting
    • Finance
    • Financial record keeping
  • Ability to analyze situations, identify problems and recommend solutions
  • Detail orientated with proficiency in composing and proofing materials
  • Efficient use of time management with the ability to work independently
  • Knowledge of OneSite - RealPage Residential Property Management Software, is preferred but not required.
  • Minimum - Bachelor's degree in accounting
  • 3-5 years' experience in related fields
  • Computer proficiency, with thorough knowledge of Excel
  • Property management experience desired
Fine Details:
  • Work Schedule: Monday - Friday; 9am - 5pm
  • Workspace: Hybrid; Combination of working from home and two days in office located in the Olde City
