How You'll Contribute:
Kaufman Rossin is seeking a Tax Senior with ASC 740 experience to join our growing Tax Department. This important role includes client relationships, technical tax compliance and consulting work, and managing staff:
- Reviewing individual and non-individual tax returns
- Preparing, reviewing, and auditing tax provisions for public and private companies' reporting under ASC 740
- Reviewing Federal, State tax returns and work papers for midsized to large C corporations
- Assisting entire Tax practice on resolving day-to-day tax issues
- Communicating with federal and state tax authorities as needed
- Researching complex tax issues
- Assisting in planning
- Mentoring and training staff
- Business development
Requirements
What Skills You'll bring:
- 3-4 years' experience within tax at a public accounting firm
- MS in Taxation
- CPA strongly preferred
- Experience with tax provisions for public and private companies' reporting under ASC 740
- Experience with Federal, State tax returns and work papers for midsized to large C-corporations
- Strong team player and a commitment to high quality, detailed work
- Ability to deal with clients and possess "executive presence"

- Ability to work periodic overtime
