A regional title company is looking for a Senior Escrow Officer to join their team on-site in San Antonio, TX, Corpus Christi, TX or Kyle, Texas. The Escrow Officer will support the resale team drive business and bring in customers. The ideal candidate will bring their own book of business and clients, and open, balance and prepare files for disbursement and close escrow files as well as coordinate with sellers, buyers, lenders, and realtors throughout the closing process. Primary responsibilities will include preparing documents, clearing titles, ordering payoff statements, or other documentation as needed, and preparation for disbursing funds for transactions. The Escrow Officer must also determine what requirements are needed to complete a transaction and ensure that all parties have properly signed and filed the necessary closing documents.
This is a permanent position that pays based on experience. The salary ranges from $70,000-$80,000 + commission.
Must Haves:
5+ years recent title insurance and escrow experience, including experience as an Escrow Officer (residential primary)
Active book of business with clients that will follow to the new company
Business development experience
Holding current Texas Escrow Officer License (or ability to get licensed)
Technical experience (document preparation, real estate knowledge, computer skills, analytical thinking, mathematical skills, extensive knowledge of state and federal regulations governing title operations)
Plusses:
Advanced degree (associates, bachelors, masters)
RamQuest experience (title production software)
Experience closing different property types
