POSITION SUMMARY:

The Senior Account Director will play a pivotal role in fostering relationships, driving revenue growth, and overseeing strategic initiatives within the realm of advertising and media sales.

RESPONSIBILITIES:

  1. Develop and implement strategic sales plans to achieve revenue targets and expand market share within the assigned category or agency accounts.
  2. Serve as a key liaison between National CineMedia and category/agency Vice Presidents and/or Senior Vice Presidents to understand their needs, provide insights, and tailor solutions that align with their business goals.
  3. Cultivate and nurture strong partnerships with key decision-makers at agencies or within specific industry categories, advocating for National CineMedia's services and offerings.
  4. Collaborate cross-functionally with marketing, operations, research and finance teams to ensure alignment and execution of strategic initiatives.
  5. Analyze market trends, competitive landscapes, and industry developments to identify opportunities for growth and adapt strategies accordingly.
  6. Achieve pre-determined quantitative goals which may include specific revenue targets by category, agency and/or account, securing targeted accounts, developing relationships with the highest-level decision makers on the client and/or agency side.
  7. Partner with the team VP and/or SVP to develop overall Agency and/or Category strategy and play a pivotal role in executing upon that strategy including (but not limited to):
    1. Contributing to business planning process.
    2. Identifying industry trends and aligning with NCM solutions.
    3. Partnering with Marketing and SIA to help craft our category narrative.

REQUIREMENTS:

  1. Bachelor's degree in Business, Marketing, Advertising, or related field.
  2. Minimum of 10 years of progressive experience in advertising sales, media sales, or related fields.
  3. Proven track record of successfully managing large accounts, exceeding sales targets, and fostering long-term client relationships.
  4. Strong leadership skills with experience in leading and developing high-performing teams.
  5. Exceptional communication, negotiation, and presentation abilities.
  6. Strategic thinking coupled with a data-driven approach to decision-making.
  7. Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, dynamic environment and adapt to changing market conditions.
  8. Proficiency in CRM software, Microsoft Office Suite, and other relevant sales tools.

WORKING CONDITIONS:

This job operates in a professional office environment. This role routinely uses standard office equipment such as computers, phones, photocopiers, and filing cabinets.

SALARY RANGE & BENEFIT OPTIONS FOR NEW YORK APPLICANTS:

Salary Range: Base Salary of approximately $125,000-$300,000 annually plus bonus - compensation is commensurate with skills & experience.
