This individual will ensure the delivery of all external and internal shipments following established standard operating procedures while staying aligned with all DOT / IATA regulations.What you will do:Daily receiving of customer packages and shipmentsEnsure deliveries of customer inbound freight and packages to various locations throughout customer site are completed accurately.Working with end user community to coordinate deliveries.Communicate with supervisor any customer issues or potential problems.Adopts Practical Process Improvement (PPI) methodologiesMaintain Shipping and Receiving packing materialsDaily use of powered and manual pallet jacks and liftersStrong attention to detail in daily site safety proceduresReview work instructions with leadership and colleaguesEducation:High School Diploma or equivalent(GED)College degree preferred, but not required.Experience:1-3 years of dynamic proven experience requiredExperience in laboratory setting or services preferredExperience in GLP/GMP environment a plusPhenomenal customer service skillsExperience with receiving dangerous goods a plusAt Thermo Fisher Scientific, each one of our 100,000 outstanding minds has a unique story to tell.
