We are currently seeking a Senior Data Warehouse Architect w/Data Analytics for our client in the Healthcare domain. Role Description: The Senior Data Warehouse Architect must have at least 8+ years of experience. Senior Data Warehouse Architect is a critical member of the Digital Analytics, Enterprise Data Warehouse Data Architecture team.

The Data Architecture team works together with other Data and Analytic teams to design, develop, validate, maintain, and support the platform and many different analytic data assets and products.

Responsibilities:

1. Design, develop and revise conceptual, logical, and physical data models that conform to Data Architecture standards for Digital (i.e., Digital Data Architecture).
2. Build and maintain a deep understanding of the data and analytic landscape including data sources, data and analytic assets and products, analytic tools and software, and master data.
3. Act as Technical Lead on data projects and guide and mentor other Data Architects and Data Engineers.
4. Determine database structural requirements by analyzing business operations, applications, and programming; reviewing objectives with business partners; evaluating current systems.
5. Apply expertise and best practices to the development and revision of data architecture standards and conventions.
6. Partner with security architects to ensure compliance with data security and privacy policies and procedures.
7. Participate in Architectural strategies on the EDW migration to Cloud platform e.g., integration with Data Lake and other Azure services.
8. Interview business users to obtain requirements for enhancements and/or new analytic assets.
9. Understand how data is used to support analytical and/or operational reporting including architectural dependencies, high-volume processing, and enterprise-level integration.
10. Work with teams to integrate data across clinical, administrative, and financial source systems including the management of critical master data.
11. Follow standards for technology and technical processes.
12. Present technical solutions to stakeholders and end users.

Technical Skills:

1. Minimum of 8 years of relevant experience including continuing to innovate data architecture design and deployment, and data modelling especially dimensional data modeling (OLAP), and database development.
2. Experience with Cloud Data Warehouse platforms e.g., Snowflake, Azure.
3. Experience with the Azure stack (Azure Data Factory, ADLS, Azure Databricks, Azure ML, and Azure SQL) to help build a modern platform for data that will be sourced from a variety of analytic and operational applications.
4. Must possess strong data modeling skills.
5. Must possess experience using Erwin or similar tools for developing and maintaining data models.
6. Must possess strong data analysis skills into source systems to profile source system data.
7. Must have strong experience with SQL.
8. Experience with SQL Server platform is preferred.
9. Healthcare industry experience and Epic data experience is preferred.
10. Experience with Tableau reporting tools a plus but not required.
11. Must possess excellent oral and written communication skills.
12. Understand how data is used to support analytical and/or operational reporting.
13. Excellent consultative skills, understanding business needs and translating those needs to technical requirements and solutions.
14. Strong creative problem solving with ability to craft solutions to meet the wide range of business needs across the organization.
15. Adept at establishing trusted relationships at all levels across the organization and collaborating across multi-functional teams.
16. Relational and dimensional data modeling and database design skills.
17. Knowledge of data warehousing architectural approaches.
18. Understanding of SQL and relational and multidimensional designs.
19. Ability to construct queries using a supported query tool.
20. Understands BI tool architecture, functions, features.
21. Flexibility, diplomacy, and problem-solving.
22. Ability to communicate effectively with all levels of the organization including senior business and clinical leaders and executives.

Education: Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Electrical/Electronic Engineering, Information Technology or another related field or Equivalent
