We are currently looking for a skilled CPA Tax Manager to lead our tax practice. In this pivotal role, you will oversee the tax compliance process, manage client relationships, and provide strategic insights to help our clients minimize their tax obligations. As a Tax Manager, you will mentor a team of tax professionals and ensure the highest quality of service delivery.

Responsibilities:

  • Lead and manage tax compliance and planning for a diverse portfolio of clients.
  • Review tax returns and associated financial documents for accuracy and compliance.
  • Develop and implement tax strategies to optimize client tax positions and achieve financial goals.
  • Maintain strong client relationships by serving as the primary point of contact for tax-related inquiries.
  • Oversee and mentor junior staff to enhance their professional development and technical skills.
  • Stay updated on federal, state, and local tax regulations and communicate changes to clients.
  • Conduct tax research and provide insights on complex tax issues.
  • Collaborate with the leadership team to drive business development initiatives.
  • Ensure timely and accurate completion of tax services and projects.

Requirements

  • 5+ years of experience in public accounting, with a focus on tax.
  • CPA certification is required.
  • Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
  • Strong knowledge of federal, state, and local tax regulations.
  • Proven ability to manage multiple projects and deadlines.
  • Exceptional analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to lead and mentor a team effectively.
  • Advanced proficiency in tax software and MS Office applications.
  • Strong dedication to client service and maintaining a proactive approach.
