Qt Software Engineer

The Ranger Group, a leading US Engineering Solutions provider to companies across the Aerospace & Defense, Medical Device, Electronics and Industrial Manufacturing industries, is currently seeking a Software Engineer for a Direct Hire role with a leading Manufacturing client in the Dallas Area. This role will require work to be completed 100% Onsite .

Job Description: We are seeking an experienced Embedded Software Engineer to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for designing and developing QT GUI interfaces for our automated coffee-making machines. Your expertise will contribute to enhancing user interactions and overall product functionality.

Key Responsibilities:

• Design and develop intuitive QT GUI interfaces for our automated coffee machines.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define, design, and ship new features.
• Troubleshoot and debug applications to optimize performance.
• Maintain and improve existing codebases, ensuring high-quality software development practices.
• Stay updated with emerging technologies and industry trends to continually improve our products.

Requirements:

• Bachelor’s Degree in Electrical Engineering, Software Engineering, or Computer Science.
• 8+ years of experience as a Software Engineer.
• 8+ years of experience in C++ programming.
• 3+ years of experience with QT framework.
• Proficiency in embedded Linux environments.
