Executive Director, licensed Assisted Living Manager (ALM) - Senior Living Community

We are seeking an experienced and compassionate Executive Director to lead our assisted living and memory care community in Maryland. All candidates must have an active Assited Living Manager license in Maryland. The ideal candidate will have experience as an Executive Director in an ALF community, strong leadership skills, a passion for senior care, and a commitment to enhancing the lives of our residents.

Responsibilities :

Community Leadership

  • Oversee daily operations of the assisted living and memory care community
  • Ensure compliance with state regulations and company policies
  • Develop and implement strategic plans to improve resident care and community performance

Financial Management

  • Manage community budget and financial performance
  • Optimize occupancy rates and revenue streams
  • Control expenses while maintaining high-quality care standards

Team Development

  • Recruit, train, and mentor staff members
  • Foster a positive work environment and promote team collaboration
  • Conduct regular performance evaluations and provide constructive feedback

Resident Care

  • Ensure delivery of high-quality care and services to residents
  • Implement and oversee resident care plans
  • Address resident and family concerns promptly and effectively

Marketing and Community Relations

  • Develop and execute marketing strategies to attract new residents
  • Build and maintain relationships with healthcare providers and community partners
  • Represent the community at local events and networking opportunities

Qualifications:

  • Current Assisted Living Manager (ALM) License in Maryland
  • Bachelor's degree in Healthcare Administration, Business, or related field
  • 3-5 years of experience in an executive role in assisted living.
  • Strong understanding of state and federal regulations governing assisted living and memory care communities
  • Excellent communication, interpersonal, and leadership skills
  • Proficiency in financial management and budgeting
  • Demonstrated ability to lead and motivate teams
