Job Title: Licensed Practical Nurse/ Licensed Vocational Nurse Location: Oswego, NY Duration: 8 Weeks Contract Shift: Days - 40 Hours Weekly (5x8) Local Pay: $39 - $40/Hour

Job Description:

Are you a skilled LPN/LVN looking for a rewarding 8-week contract opportunity in Oswego, NY? Our urology office is seeking a dedicated professional to join our team.

Responsibilities:

• Assist with office and medical procedures.
• Process patient referrals to other providers.
• Schedule appointments and perform other administrative duties as needed.
• Room patients, take vitals, and utilize our EMR system.
• Demonstrate knowledge of medical terminology and possess strong typing skills.
• Work under the direct supervision of the Practice Coordinator, designee, or provider.
• Support secretarial and nursing staff in patient care areas.

Qualifications:

• High School Diploma/GED or LPN graduate from an Accredited Practical Nursing Program with current NYS licensure.
• Current certification in CPR.
• Demonstrated clerical and computer knowledge.
• Preferred experience of at least one year in a medical office setting.
• Knowledge of medical terminology and/or 3rd party insurance processes is a plus.
• Proficiency in PC/CRT data entry and excellent customer service skills.
