Seeking an experienced and strategic Director of Social Media to lead the governance and oversight of our social media operations. This individual will be responsible for ensuring that all social media activities comply with corporate policies, industry regulations, and best practices. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in social media management, risk mitigation, and governance, with a proven ability to oversee effective and compliant social media initiatives.

Responsibilities:

• Oversee and govern social media activities across the organization, ensuring alignment with company policies and industry regulations.
• Conduct regular risk assessments to ensure social media programs are managed in a risk-free manner.
• Maintain and update the social media inventory to ensure all content aligns with approved posts.
• Act as a business manager, auditing social media content to confirm compliance with corporate standards.
• Collaborate with internal teams to ensure smooth operations and effective communication on all social media platforms.

Requirements:

• Strong background in social media management, risk mitigation, and governance.
• Minimum of 5 years of experience in social media management, with a focus on risk mitigation and governance.
• Proficiency in business management skills to oversee social media programs effectively.
• Experience with tools like Smartsheet and Hootsuite is a plus.
• Bachelor's degree required.
