Our Financial Institutions Group (FIG) is comprised of all Balance Sheet Strategy and Investment Banking teams focused
on community depositories in the United States. Due to significant growth and evolution of the team, we are seeking
a new Head of FIG. David Gobberdiel, the current head of the group, will remain at Performance Trust and partner with
our CEO, Chirag Shah, and Management Team to identify and accelerate firm-wide growth opportunities.
The successful candidate for this role will amplify, sharpen, and accelerate the trajectory of FIG and FIG teammates, while
contributing broadly to firm growth. We welcome candidates of varying backgrounds and skillsets, consistent with our

Job Description:
We are seeking a Head of FIG to lead our Financial Institutions Group. The successful candidate will have deep and
reputable experience in financial institutions, advisory/consultative sales, and the ability to implement a vision for growth.
This senior leadership role requires operating as a respected leader within the firm and industry, while fostering a culture
of high trust and low tolerance.
Key Responsibilities:
1. Leadership and Vision:
- Exhibit deep, reputable, and innovative experience in FIG or related markets.
- Articulate and communicate a compelling vision for our evolved FIG platform, both internally and externally.
2. Team Management:
- Lead, empower, and hold accountable team leaders and teams based on data-driven decision-making.
- Provide feedback, accountability, and insight which empowers team leaders building and managing successful
teams.
3. Strategic Contribution:
- Contribute to further evolution of FIG and identify opportunities for growth within FIG and adjacent markets or
ventures.
- Drive expansion of FIG, identify new revenue streams, and participate in strategic planning and execution.
4. Regulatory Compliance:
- Hold, or quickly obtain, FINRA SIE, Series 79, 7, and 24 licenses.
- Supervise and maintain regulatory good standing for the group.
5. Entrepreneurial Approach:
- Effectively balance feedback, consensus-building, and entrepreneurial methods.
- Act swiftly to address conflict, drive decisions, and build/maintain a sales and advisory culture of high trust and
low tolerance.
6. Revenue Generation:
- Develop and implement a strategic revenue generation plan, aligned with the company's overall goals.
- Monitor the marketplace, analyze opportunities, and provide competitive strategies to drive revenue.
7. Team Development:
- Build and foster high performing teams.
- Provide strong leadership and guidance to teams, ensuring motivation and equipping them to achieve and
exceed targets.
Requirements
Qualifications:
- Proven experience in FIG, advisory/consultative sales, or related markets.
- Strong leadership skills with a focus on data-driven decision-making.
- FINRA SIE, Series 79, 7, and 24 licenses (or ability to quickly obtain).
- Experience in strategic planning and execution.
- Track record of successfully driving revenue growth.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
