Job Title: Director Scientific Investigator

Responsibilities:
This position will provide vision and leadership by stewarding and growing a research portfolio for faculty through sponsored research, scientific collaboration, and dissemination. Will lead a team of 20-22 Investigators and a manager. 60% of this position will be doing research and 40% will be dedicated to administrative tasks like staff management, vision, strategy, and stakeholder management.
Required Qualifications:
- At least 10 years of experience as an investigator and achievement of the rank of scientific Investigator or Full Professor.
- Experience in securing Peer Review Grant Funding as a publicly funded investigator.
- 10 years of leadership experience is required in leading teams.
- 5 years of direct management experience supervising research scientists including doctorate-trained investigators.
- Doctoral degree (e.g., PhD, DrPH, SciD, or MD) in a health care-related field, including but not limited to medicine, epidemiology, behavioral science, or health services.
