Job Requirements / Description

The incumbent is a member of the Custom Applications team responsible for programming and support of in-house developed and vendor-provided software. Working closely with other team members, the employee will develop new software solutions, apply software upgrades, implement modifications and enhancements, support legacy applications, develop interfaces to third-party systems, and assist end users. As part of the team supporting software that is critical to Enterprise operations, such as security access systems, the incumbent must work to resolve issues quickly and effectively. As a senior level analyst, the incumbent is responsible for mentoring and advising less experienced analysts.

This position is eligible for remote work in accordance with CM-73 – Remote Work Policy (This allows up to 3 days remote work after 6 months of employment at the discretion of the department).

Minimum Qualifications

Required Education: Bachelor's degree from an accredited four-year institution.

Certifications/Licenses Required: None specified.

Minimum Years Required: Five years.

Type of Experience Required: Professional web development, relational database, and object-oriented programming experience.

Preferred Qualifications:

  1. Functional & technical experience supporting web & windows applications & Moodle.
  2. Experience collaborating with development team members, DBAs, infrastructure support staff, and functional teams.
  3. Experience applying maintenance packs & upgrades.
