Join the forward-thinking HR team at Mt Hood Meadows. We're looking for a Recruitment & HR Administrator to support all departments and team members at Mt. Hood Meadows and Cooper Spur. This position is essential for ensuring smooth operations across the resort by focusing on:

  • Relationship Building - Collaborating with and working closely with team members, candidates and hiring teams.
  • Prioritizing Service: Anticipating needs, staying organized, and planning effectively.
  • Supporting our Team: Approach with an "Everybody Shovels" mindset, assisting with various Employee Services tasks, and contributing to uniform distribution and other daily tasks as needed.
A multi-faceted position with a primary focus on full cycle recruiting functions for Mt. Hood Meadows and Cooper Spur Resort; assisting hiring teams and candidates ensuring a smooth process. While being one of the main faces of the organization and a reflection of our 'Everybody Shovels' motto, this position will also provide support for the Human Resources Department assisting with onboarding, delivery of team services, and supporting team programs. You will be expected to demonstrate professionalism while being a model for company culture and safety, and advocate for the trust and integrity of company policies and processes. As the Recruitment & HR Administrator you will build relationships pre and post job placement as an integral part of the Human Resources Team at Mt Hood Meadows Resort.
This is a Full-time, Seasonal position
Qualifications and Experience:
  • Must be 18 years or older.
  • High school diploma or GED required.
  • Experience in recruiting, human resources, or related education/vocational background.
  • Strong organizational skills with exceptional attention to detail and discretion in handling confidential information.
  • Self-motivated, able to multi-task, work independently and as part of a team; service and people oriented.
  • Ability to adapt in a fast-paced work environment while managing competing priorities effectively.
  • Excellent written, proofreading, and grammar skills, both formal and creative.
  • Experience with Software as a Service (SaaS) or web applications, including user role administration and support.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office applications (intermediate level or higher).
  • Must be available to work weekends and holidays during the ski and snowboard season.
  • Comfortable with the changing dynamics of a seasonal business.
  • Subject to a satisfactory background screening.

Preferred Experience
  • Experience with point of sale, recruiting software, and public speaking
  • Experience in recruiting metrics and data analytics
  • General knowledge of Mt. Hood Meadows and Cooper Spur Mtn. Resort
  • Bilingual in English/Spanish
Compensation:
  • Starting Wage: $25.00 Hourly
