Job Overview

As the Senior Semiconductor Sales Director at ASC Global, you will be instrumental in driving demand for our semiconductor products across the Americas. This on-site position in Tamarac, FL requires you to oversee relationships with Alliance Accounts, independent representatives, and resellers while leading a high-performing team to achieve revenue goals and expand our market presence. The Director of Sales will be responsible for leading the sales team, developing and implementing sales strategies, and driving revenue growth for our electronic components business. Additionally, you will need to manage a personal book of clients, actively engage in sales, and maintain strong client relationships while guiding and supporting the sales team. Your role will involve crafting and executing strategic sales initiatives, managing key customer relationships, and identifying new market opportunities to fuel growth.

  1. Lead and inspire a high-performing sales team to achieve sales objectives, fostering a culture of excellence.
  2. Maintain and grow a personal book of clients while engaging in direct sales, balancing client management with team leadership.
  3. Develop and implement comprehensive sales strategies to meet revenue targets, increase market share, and expand the customer base.
  4. Stay updated on industry trends, competitor activities, and customer demands to drive strategic decisions and adapt sales tactics.
  5. Build and sustain strong relationships with key clients and distributors, addressing needs and identifying growth opportunities.
  6. Identify and pursue new market opportunities, developing go-to-market strategies and evaluating market segments for penetration.
  7. Analyze sales data, market trends, and customer feedback to provide accurate sales forecasts, implement corrective actions, and report on performance.
  8. Continuously evaluate and enhance the sales process, including lead generation, opportunity management, and sales funnel optimization.
  9. Implement and utilize sales enablement tools and best practices to streamline operations and improve efficiency.
  10. Drive revenue growth by meeting or exceeding sales targets, negotiating contracts, managing pricing strategies, and overseeing agreements and commissions.
  11. Collaborate with senior executives to identify and pursue strategic partnerships, distribution channels, and acquisitions to strengthen market position.
  12. Advocate for customer needs and expectations, ensuring high levels of satisfaction and effective resolution of issues.
  13. Prepare and present regular sales forecasts, provide actionable insights to senior management, and report on customer interactions and competitive intelligence.
  14. Recruit, train, and manage sales representatives and agents, setting clear goals and monitoring performance.
  15. Manage cost and pricing strategies to enhance profitability, ensuring alignment with company goals.

Minimum Requirements

  1. Proven experience (8 to 12 years) as a Sales Director or in a similar senior sales leadership role within the semiconductor industry.
  2. In-depth understanding of the semiconductor market, including trends, technologies, and customer needs.
  3. Strong ability to translate market insights into effective sales strategies.
  4. Excellent leadership and team management capabilities with a track record of building and nurturing high-performing sales teams.
  5. Demonstrated success in driving revenue growth, achieving sales targets, and expanding market share.
  6. Exceptional communication, negotiation, and presentation skills.
  7. Analytical mindset with the capability to interpret sales data, generate meaningful insights, and drive data-driven decisions.

Education

  1. Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Engineering, or a related field.
  2. MBA is a plus.
