This role is required to be onsite 5 days a week in Fremont, CA.
Job Summary
We are seeking a qualified, motivated individual to join our company as an Accounts Receivable Accountant. As part of our accounting team, you will maintain and administer accounts receivable records and files, apply payments, help with weekly cash reconciliations, and facilitate collections as necessary. Our preferred candidate has at least a bachelor's degree in accounting, business finance, or a related field. You must have five or more years of experience in an accounts receivable environment, including experience with reconciling accounts, making deposits, applying payments, managing a general ledger, and creating reports for stakeholders.
Duties And Responsibilities
- Prepare weekly financial reports for stakeholders
- Apply cash payments and resolve potential discrepancies
- Issue customer invoices and/or billing statements
- Facilitate collection from overdue accounts as necessary
- Track and record payments remitted and services rendered
- Perform AR aging review and reconciliations
- Collaborate with internal teams to resolve billing discrepancies and disputes
- Participate in the ERP optimization projects related to AR and Billing
- Review and document contract terms to make sure revenue recognition is correct
- Ensure billing agrees to the terms on the contract and all contracts are processed in ERP
- Prepare waterfalls for all other than product revenue streams
- Reconcile AR aging and follow up on the unpaid balances with internal business owners and external vendors/sellers/suppliers
- System optimization related to Order to Collect cycle
- Participate in other projects related to audit, revenue recognition, collection, or billing process
Requirements And Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in accounting, business, or a related field
- CPA licensure highly preferred
- Five or more years of experience in an accounts receivable or accounts payable environment
- Experience with account reconciliation
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Experience with invoicing and data entry software
- Proficiency with all standard accounting and presentation software and platforms
- Detail-oriented with a high level of accuracy in work

Compensation Range
- The US base salary range for this full-time position is $80,000-$95,000
- This role may be eligible for discretionary bonus, incentives, and benefits
- Our salary ranges are determined by role, level, and location
