Progressive Die Stamping Designer

Growing manufacturing facility in Brea, CA is hiring an experienced Progressive Die Stamping Designer to add to their team. this is a full time permanent position with great company culture and benefits.

SUMMARY:

Working under the direction of an engineer, you will use software to convert the designs of engineers into technical drawings.

• Interpret rough sketches and engineer specifications
• Specify dimensions, materials, and procedure
• Utilize 2D or 3D CAD for tool design
• Will collaborate with other departments and design products with manufacturing in mind

REQUIREMENTS:

• 3+ years of AutoCAD or Solidworks
• Must have metal stamping experience
• High school diploma, or GED
• 2-year college degree in drafting or technical training
• AutoCAD or SOLIDWORKS/Logopress3
• Detail-oriented
• Great communication skills both verbal and written
• Strong math skills
• Able to meet deadlines
