As our Director, Development Digital Standard, Tools and Training, you will leverage your expert knowledge of the product development process from start to finish. You will lead a team of Apparel Development experts to deliver industry defining development tools and ways of working. You’ll partner with our Innovation, Global Technology, Operations and Fields of Play teams to establish Digital Development standards and process. You’ll provide technical recommendations and support to the Technical Design, Technical Development, and Product Development community and be at the forefront of adopting and adapting new tools and processes into the business.

WHO WE ARE LOOKING FOR

The candidate needs to have a strong Product Creation and Technical Development background, be a strategic thinker and have an analytical mind-set. This role requires a strong working knowledge of the digital landscape within Product Creation. A strong understanding and implementation of 3D tools and technologies, such as CLO and Browzwear is needed. Someone who is eager to embrace new processes, tools and technologies and be able to utilize data for analysis and decision making. We’re looking for a strong collaborator, communicator and advocate. You will be a highly creative problem solver, versatile and forward thinking. We are looking for someone who is optimistic, self-aware, embraces change and holds themselves and their teams accountable.

Minimum Qualifications:

  1. Bachelor’s degree or equivalent combination of education, experience or training.
  2. A minimum of 9 years directly relevant work experience.
  3. 9+ years professional experience in Technical Design, Product Development, Global Manufacturing, and Product Integrity.
  4. Advanced knowledge of the apparel development process from inception through production, including but not limited to pattern making, grading, construction, costing, manufacturing, embroidery, materials and machinery.
  5. Strong communication, influencing and leadership skills, with the ability to communicate across multiple audiences in a complex organizational structure.
  6. Embrace and lead change to implement new technologies and simplification.
  7. Lead at all levels with diversity, authenticity, empowerment, and inspiration, where we all create an environment of belonging.
  8. Ability to use Adobe Illustrator and CAD Pattern Design software (Optitex/Browzwear) highly desired.
  9. Ability to travel 10-15% of the time including International travel.

WHAT YOU’LL WORK ON

You will focus on evolving the digital landscape surrounding Product Creation Development, including digital development tools, processes and Training for Nike Apparel and Accessories. You will utilize your advanced technical design and development knowledge to provide leadership on large and complex projects. This role has a strong partnership with Innovation and Product Creation teams to establish standards, develop processes and training content.

This role will ensure digital standards execution: creation, maintenance, implementation, training and governance.

You’ll provide technical recommendations and support to the Technical Design, Technical Development, and Product Development community and be at the forefront of adopting, adapting new tools and processes across the business.
