Job Description

Primary Function of Position:

Position Overview: The Sr. Project Manager, Global RAQA will report to the global Vice President Regulatory Affairs and Commercial RAQA or one of his LT members. He/she will work with the leadership team to develop, organize, communicate, and coordinate various strategic projects, operational initiatives and business processes.

This role requires a blend of strategic thinking, operational expertise, and excellent interpersonal skills.

Essential Job Duties:

  • Strategic Planning and Execution:
    • Partner with the VP of Global RAQA and Commercial and his/her leadership team to develop, coordinate, communicate and track long range planning models, goal settings, capacity and resource planning.
    • Help identify areas of growth, gaps and emerging business needs.
    • Monitor progress and provide regular updates to the RAQA LT or SVP RAQA ELT.
    • Identify opportunities for process simplification and synergies and improvement within the organization.
    • Develop KPI and operational efficiency metrics, baselining activities and track the outcomes of these metrics or KPIs.
  • Operational Management:
    • Act as a liaison between the Global RA and RAQA commercial team and other senior management, and other staff members to ensure progress of actions and tracking of action plan.
    • Managing and coordinating various Leadership team meetings, including preparing agendas, taking minutes, and following up on action items.
    • Facilitate effective communication within the global regulatory teams, regional regulatory or commercial teams or organization through the coordination and facilitation of all employee meetings; site townhalls.
    • Prepare and manage internal and external communications on behalf of the Global VP of Regulatory Affairs and Commercial RAQA.
    • Assist in developing presentation narratives and drives/facilitates content creation for various forums, ensuring a robust communication cascade, cohesion of narrative and right sizing of the message to the audience (example: Reviews, quarterly updates, All Hands, etc.).
  • Project Management:
    • Lead and manage special projects supporting critical and strategic RA initiatives.
    • Oversee and govern projects and initiatives are delivered on time, within scope, and on-budget.
    • Track project performance and report on progress to global stakeholders.

Qualifications

Preferred Skills and Experience:

  • Experience in data analysis and budget management.
  • Experience in health care and technology industry is required.
  • Nimble business mind, focused on developing creative solutions.
  • Proven project-reporting skills, with focus on interdepartmental communications.
  • Project management experience and cross functional expertise for collaboration.
  • Regulatory and quality knowledge and experience.
  • International organization support skills.
  • Creating cohesive and structured reporting dashboard.
  • Education: Minimum Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Management, or a related field. An MBA or other advanced degree is preferred.
  • Experience: Minimum of 7-12 years of experience in a strategic, operational, or leadership role. Previous experience as a Chief of Staff or similar position is highly desirable.

We provide market-competitive compensation packages, inclusive of base pay, incentives, benefits, and equity. It would not be typical for someone to be hired at the top end of range for the role, as actual pay will be determined based on several factors, including experience, skills, and qualifications. The target salary ranges are listed.

Base Salary Range Region 1: $161,500 - $232,500
Base Salary Range Region 2: $137,400 - $197,700
Shift: Day
Travel: 10% of the time
Workplace Type: Set Schedule - This job will be onsite weekly, the percentage of onsite work will be defined by the leader.
