CCAR is looking to hire Young People and Family Coordinator (New Haven). This position is grant funded.
The Young People and Family Services Coordinator will coordinate and support young people and family programming at various center locations.
The ideal person will be enthusiastic, extremely well organized and passionate in working closely with people in recovery.

Duties and Responsibilities:
• Work closely with center staff and volunteers to support young people and family programming at centers.
• Provide advocacy support, activities, and events that are inclusive of all pathways in recovery.
• Provide telephone recovery support calls as needed.
• Ability to provide additional support and resources to recoverees as needed.
• Ability to troubleshoot and guide a recoveree during a time of crisis.
• Facilitation
• Support in tracking center visits, volunteer hours, meetings and events.
• Open and close recovery community center as needed.
• Able to answer telephone inquiries related to agency programs, services and functions.
• Database maintenance.
• Other duties as required.
Qualifications:
• Two years experience in customer service or related field.
• Proven track record in outstanding customer service.
• Strong communication skills both written and verbal.
• Excellent organizational skills with keen attention to detail and ability to prioritize.
• Exceptional computer skills including knowledge of Microsoft word, excel, web-based platforms and database management.
• Strong customer service ethic.
• Time management skills.
• Ability to work independently.
• Ability to troubleshoot and problem solve.
• Cross-cultural skills and experience with culturally diverse populations.
• Knowledge about addiction recovery a plus.
• Experience working in a non-profit environment a plus.

The Young People and Family Services Coordinator is a full time (35 hour/week) hourly position Tuesday - Friday 12:00 pm - 8:00 pm and Saturdays 9 am - 5 pm.
