Job Duties
- Assist with patent preparation and prosecution related to software, artificial intelligence, and emerging technologies.
- Collaborate with clients, inventors, and in-house counsel to develop intellectual property strategies.
- Conduct prior art searches, freedom-to-operate analyses, and patent landscape reviews.
- Prepare patent applications and responses to office actions from the USPTO and international patent offices.
- Advise clients on patentability, infringement risks, and strategies for protecting their innovations.
- Stay updated on relevant technology trends, patent laws, and changes in intellectual property regulations.
- Work closely with senior attorneys and technical professionals in the drafting and prosecution of patents.
- Participate in client meetings to understand their business goals and translate them into strong patent portfolios.
- Conduct patent infringement analysis and provide technical support for litigation when necessary.
Requirements
- 2+ years of experience in patent preparation and prosecution.
- JD and admission to the USPTO are required.
- Experience with technologies such as:
- Software-related technologies.
- Artificial intelligence technologies.
- IoT (Internet of Things), networking, and related technologies.
- Quantum technologies.
- Strong writing, research, and communication skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.

Education
- Juris Doctor (JD) from an accredited law school.
