About the Position

We are in search of a highly skilled, experienced, and diligent Senior Salesforce Commerce Cloud (SFCC) Developer to augment our dynamic team as we deliver and support the Salesforce platform. In your role as a Senior SFCC Developer, you will take the reins in the development, customization, and enhancement of our shared Salesforce Commerce Cloud platform. Your expertise will be instrumental in developing solutions for multiple brands with unique stakeholders and requirements within the same realm, maintaining consistency, and introducing innovative features to improve overall functionality. A day in the life:

  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams across the enterprise to conceptualize, design, develop, and implement scalable, high-quality solutions on the Salesforce Commerce Cloud (SFCC) platform.
  • Create and implement innovative features to satisfy business requirements and enhance the customer experience.
  • Customize and extend the base SFCC functionality to meet bespoke needs and ensure seamless system performance.
  • Develop, optimize, and maintain integrations with third-party systems and APIs, ensuring efficient data flow and system interoperability.
  • Conduct thorough code reviews, enforce strict adherence to coding standards, and optimize code for maximum efficiency and minimal resource usage.
  • Troubleshoot and resolve technical issues promptly, minimizing disruption to operations and service delivery.
  • Engage closely with stakeholders to gather and analyze requirements, provide technical guidance, and deliver solutions that effectively meet business objectives.
  • Stay abreast of the latest SFCC platform features and best practices, fostering a culture of continuous learning and knowledge sharing within the team.

Qualifications for the Position

  • A bachelor’s degree in computer science or related degree; or experience commiserate with education
  • A minimum of 8 years of experience as a Salesforce Commerce Cloud (SFCC) developer.
  • Demonstrates a very high degree of proficiency in SFCC (SFRA) development.
  • Proficiency in NodeJS, and JavaScript, for both front-end and back-end development.
  • Experience with CSS (SASS) for UI development, with a keen eye for aesthetics and user-friendly interfaces.
  • Solid understanding of SFCC architecture, data models, and OCAPI (Open Commerce API).
  • Solid understanding of edge (CDN), front-end and back-end caching strategies.
  • Secure development practices i.e., handling PII data, front-end (XSS) and back-end (CSRF tokens).
  • Excellent working knowledge of client-side and server-side performance profiling tools and services.
  • Strong problem-solving skills, with the ability to troubleshoot complex issues and work independently.
  • Excellent communication and collaboration skills, facilitating effective team dynamics and cross-departmental collaboration.
  • Experience with other Salesforce products (Marketing Cloud, Service Cloud, Interaction Studio, etc.) preferred.
  • Experience with Product Information Management (PIM) systems, enhancing product data management and e-commerce efficiency preferred.

  • This position is classified as full-time salaried; it is exempt and is not eligible for overtime.   • This position can either be remote based or maintain a hybrid work schedule based out of King of Prussia, Pennsylvania, a suburb of Philadelphia. Travel to the King of Prussia Office may be required which will be determined by your supervisor. Remote candidates must be located within a reasonable flight or commute to the office.
  • Given the seasonality of the business, this position may require flexible, additional working hours during peak periods.
