Weymouth Landing Cat Clinic is ready to hire a veterinary receptionist to join its fantastic team. We are seeking a compassionate, organized, and detail-oriented receptionist to join our dedicated team. As a receptionist, you will be the face of our clinic, providing exceptional customer service to pet owners while supporting the daily operations of our cat-focused veterinary practice. You'll ensure our clients and their feline companions feel welcome, informed, and cared for throughout their visit.

Key Responsibilities :
  • Client Interaction : Greet clients warmly, answer phone calls, schedule appointments, and manage the clinic's front desk with professionalism and care.
  • Appointment Management : Coordinate and schedule client appointments, ensuring efficient use of time for veterinarians and staff.
  • Communication : Provide clear and compassionate communication with clients regarding appointment reminders, follow-up care, and answering general inquiries about services, procedures, and pricing.
  • Patient Record Keeping : Maintain accurate and up-to-date client and patient records in our practice management software, ensuring confidentiality and compliance with clinic policies.
  • Financial Transactions : Process payments for services, provide invoices, and manage accurate cash, credit, and account transactions.
  • Administrative Support : Assist the veterinary team with filing, preparing documentation for daily operations, and maintaining cleanliness and organization of the front desk area.
  • Collaboration : Work collaboratively with veterinary technicians, veterinarians, and other team members to ensure a smooth workflow and high standard of care.
Qualifications :
  • Be empathetic to our clients, coworkers, and yourself
  • Ability to ask for help and offer help to others
  • Ability to multitask and manage time effectively in a fast-paced environment
  • A desire to work closely with cats and let every owner know why their cat is the best cat that has ever existed.
  • High level of attention to detail and organizational skills
  • Ability to remain calm and compassionate in stressful situations
