Construction Senior Estimator

Job Description
A reputable leader in the construction industry, specializing in diverse commercial & light industrial projects is looking for an experienced Senior Estimator to join their team and help drive our continued success. As a Senior Construction Estimator, you will be responsible for leading the estimation process for complex construction projects. You will work closely with project managers, architects, and clients to ensure accurate and competitive bids while maintaining our commitment to quality and safety.
Key Responsibilities:

• Prepare detailed and accurate cost estimates for various construction projects.
• Analyze project documents, including plans, specifications, and contracts.
• Collaborate with project teams to understand project scope and requirements.
• Solicit and evaluate bids from subcontractors and suppliers.
• Develop and maintain relationships with clients and stakeholders.
• Provide mentorship and guidance to junior estimators and support staff.
• Participate in value engineering and cost-saving initiatives.
• Present estimates and bid proposals to management and clients.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in construction management, Civil Engineering, or a related field.
• Minimum of 8 years of experience in construction estimating, with a focus on diverse commercial and light industrial projects.
• Strong knowledge of construction methods, materials, and cost control principles.
• Proficiency in estimating software and Microsoft Office Suite.
• Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Strong communication and negotiation skills
• Leadership experience in a project or team setting.
