Job Summary:
Job Overview:
The Event Manager is responsible for planning, coordinating, and executing a variety of events to ensure they run smoothly and successfully. This role involves working closely with clients, vendors, and internal teams to create memorable experiences that meet or exceed client expectations. The Event Manager will handle all aspects of event logistics, from initial planning through post-event evaluation.
Key Responsibilities:

  • Event Planning and logistics management:
    • Oversee event setup, execution, and teardown.
    • Manage event logistics such as venue arrangements, transportation, and equipment.
    • Ensure all event elements adhere to safety and legal regulations.
  • Team Collaboration:
    • Work with internal teams (marketing, sales, and customer service) to ensure alignment with event goals.
    • Supervise and coordinate with event staff and volunteers.
  • Client Relations:
    • Provide exceptional service to clients and address any concerns or issues that arise.
    • Prepare and deliver post-event reports and feedback to clients.
  • Budget Management:
    • Develop and manage event budgets, ensuring cost-effectiveness while maintaining high quality.
    • Track expenses and ensure financial adherence to budgets.
  • Problem Solving:
    • Quickly address and resolve any issues or challenges that arise during the event.
    • Adapt plans as needed to accommodate last-minute changes or unforeseen circumstances.
Qualifications
  • Education: Bachelor's degree
  • Experience: Minimum of 3 years of experience in event planning and management.
  • Skills:
    • Strong organizational and multitasking abilities.
    • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
    • Ability to work under pressure and manage multiple events simultaneously.
    • Proficiency in event management software and Microsoft Office Suite.
    • Creative problem-solving and decision-making skills.
Work Environment:
  • The role may require occasional travel to event locations and flexibility in working hours, including evenings and weekends.
  • The position involves working in both office settings and on-site event environments.
