Winter’s Jazz Club seeks a dedicated and experienced Full-Time General Manager .
This very special role holds the responsibility of overseeing the entire day-to-day operations of the club and, as importantly, in acting as an ambassador to customers, musicians, and all those with whom they interact.
This position necessitates a friendly, experienced, professional manager who can lead, ensure guest satisfaction, and uphold the integrity of the business in all area.

Role Overview: As General Manager you will play a pivotal role in leading our team to success. Your infectious enthusiasm and collaborative approach will be instrumental in upholding our standards of excelling in service, maintaining a cohesive team, driving growth, and ensuring an exceptional experience for our guests. Duties shall inlcude but are not limited to:
- Oversee the day-to-day operations of the bar and floor, ensuring smooth and efficient service.
- Drive the recruitment, training, coaching and mentorship of all staff. Maintain a community of employees that feel supported in all aspects of employment.
- Supervise staff performance in accordance with established standards and procedures.
- Assist with training new hires, ensuring they meed standards of proper service technique and execution.
- Promote cooperative effort, team spirit and good morale among all employees.
- Take a proactive approach to facility maintenance.
- Help with duties of other employees (i.e. servers, server assistant, host) when necessary because of an unexpected absence or extra volume
- Maintains composure under pressure
- Cultivate relationships with guests, ensuring personalized service and a memorable experience.
Qualifications:
- Minimum 4 year of prior GM-level experience OR 5+ years combined AGM-level and GM-level experience at a restaurant/bar/hospitality venue.
- 3+ years of bartending experience in high-volume setting.
- Employee focus – positive approach, respect & empathy, proven ability to mentor/develop staff and sustain high employee morale, excellent employee relations skills
- Must possess valid Bassett card
- Must be able to work well under pressure
- Must be highly detailed orientated
- Must be able to work in a fast paced environment
- Must possesses excellent listening, communication skills
- Must be professional in appearance and demeanor
- Must have the ability to deal effectively and interact well with guests and associates
- Must have the ability to resolve problems/conflicts in a diplomatic and tactful manner
- Collaborate with the owner to improve day-to-day operations.
- Cultivate relationships with guests, ensuring personalized service and a memorable experience.
- Private Event management/experience (a bonus)
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, capable of building positive relationships with staff and guests.
- Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Hospitality Management, or a related field is preferred.
- Experience with Square POS and 7shifts preferred
