Key Responsibilities/ Duties:
- Lead and manage a team of Account Managers to provide excellent customer services to all assigned customers, which is measured in the team and individual scorecard dashboards.
- Develop and execute successful negotiations for competitive solution renewals and proposals highlighting Meriplex's strategy of mutual business value.
- Proactively lead the team in performing multiple customer outreach and sales activities with an understanding that the majority of your time will be spent in front of customers; face-to-face or virtually.
- Utilize CRM to provide accurate, timely, and detailed forecast funnel of opportunities to meet and exceed monthly, quarterly, and annual revenue goals.
- Interact with key stakeholders to ensure renewal and/or drive new sales through the finish line.
- Build and maintain rapport and trust within the organization through frequent communication, responsive ownership of deliverables, and respect for colleagues.
- Develop and maintain a high level of working knowledge about Meriplex products, services, and solutions.
- Active participant in training sessions targeted at the sales team.
- Establish and execute the strategic direction for the Account Manager team to align with the overall sales and revenue goals of the organization.

- Proven ability to lead, mentor and develop sales teams to achieve sales targets and exceed customer expectations.
Education/ Experience
- Bachelor’s degree preferred but not required.
- 3+ years in a sales leadership role at an MSP.
- 10+ years of demonstrated face-to-face sales experience.
- Proven experience driving growth while building and scaling high-performing sales teams.
- The ability to teach and implement sales strategies that align with the company’s goals.
- Proficient in analyzing sales data and market trends to make informed decisions.
- Ability to travel 25%-50% of the time to be in front of clients.
- Some experience with IT sales and business development, preferably in relation to technology manufacturers or solution providers.
- Knowledge of various IT sales and business solutions involving: Intelligent Networks (WAN), Managed Security Services, Managed Services, Unified Communications as a Service, Hardware, Professional Services, Cloud and Disaster Recovery Services preferred.
- Intermediate or advanced Salesforce.com skills preferred.
